Rating and Review
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Review:
I give this book 3.5⭐s. I would give it 3 stars, but for some reason, that just doesn’t feel right. I really liked the book. When I tell you I was invested, I mean it. I was INVESTED🤣! The reason the rating is 3.5 is because the story was somewhat slow. Maybe I’m just not used to reading fantasy romance, and the romance is usually slow, but that bothered me a little bit. I wish we got to their romance faster. I will say, however, that I did like learning a bit more about the world. The world is really interesting, and the characters are too. The story, all in all, was very good, despite the slow build of the romance. I’ll say once we got that sex scene, happiness hit me full force🤣. I will definitely be reading the next book because it is the final book for Elise Lysander and Valen Ferus. I think it’s going to be another good one, and I’m excited.
